Homes across Hexham and the Tyne Valley need different kinds of help. Some town properties still have old lead or clay pipework. Others rely on a private drainage system out in the villages.
Send us an urgent quote request for your Hexham property. Tell us which fixtures are affected — sinks, toilets, baths, or outside drains. We send the nearest engineer straight away.
Since blockages vary by property, we find out which drain section has the problem on arrival. Then we check if the blockage sits close by or further down the line.
We pick the right tool for the job — rods, a drain snake, or high-pressure jetting. This still clears the blockage and flushes the drain clean.
We remove the blockage fully and flush the line with water. We also check the flow from every connected fixture before we leave.
We explain what caused the problem in plain terms. We also share simple tips to help stop it happening again at your Hexham property.
Since access varies by property, we carry rods, an electric machine, and a jetting unit for town drains. For a private system, we also bring septic contacts and soakaway gear. This way most Hexham drains can be unblocked in a single visit.
Local tip: Since prevention beats a repeat callout, older stone homes in Hexham often have deep, hidden inspection chambers. If you have just bought one, find yours early. We can map your whole system during a CCTV check.
We aim to reach Hexham properties with urgent jobs prioritised. Since blockages vary, most jobs still take one to two hours once we're on site.
We never charge a call-out fee, in Hexham or anywhere else we cover. You only pay for the work we actually do, and we confirm the price before we start.
A simple blockage near the plughole may clear with a plunger or drain cleaner. But if water backs up from outside drains, or more than one fixture has a problem, you need professional equipment. Rodding shared drains the wrong way can push the blockage further down the line.
