Since every property is different, our Sunderland drain team covers the whole city. We answer calls in Roker and other local areas. We work on old clay pipes, old concrete pipes, and modern plastic ones. Any pipe type, any part of town, we can clear it.
Send us an urgent quote request for your Sunderland property. Tell us which fixtures are affected — sinks, toilets, baths, or outside drains. We send the nearest engineer straight away.
Since blockages vary by property, we find out which drain section has the problem on arrival. Then we check if the blockage sits close by or further down the line.
We pick the right tool for the job — rods, a drain snake, or high-pressure jetting. This still clears the blockage and flushes the drain clean.
We remove the blockage fully and flush the line with water. We also check the flow from every connected fixture before we leave.
We explain what caused the problem in plain terms. We also share simple tips to help stop it happening again at your Sunderland property.
While every job differs, our engineers bring rods, drain machines, and jetting units. We find out where the blockage sits and what caused it. We pick the right tool and clear it fully. Then we test every fixture to check the flow runs free.
Local tip: While it may seem minor, old terraces in Millfield often have deep brick inspection chambers. The cast iron covers can seize shut over the years. Hendon homes share this same problem. We carry the right tools to open a seized cover safely.
We aim to reach Sunderland properties with urgent jobs prioritised. Since blockages vary, most jobs still take one to two hours once we're on site.
We never charge a call-out fee, in Sunderland or anywhere else we cover. You only pay for the work we actually do, and we confirm the price before we start.
A simple blockage near the plughole may clear with a plunger or drain cleaner. But if water backs up from outside drains, or more than one fixture has a problem, you need professional equipment. Rodding shared drains the wrong way can push the blockage further down the line.
